Sugar Bowl Champions!!!!

I could say I'm pretty excited, but that would be an understatement... Seriously, I cannot believe it, I feel like I'm dreaming! The University of Oklahoma beat Alabama!

We had a lot of our friends over to watch the game, great food, great company and icing on the cake... OU wins.

*2014*2014*2014*

It's officially 2014 Party Peeps! I cannot believe it's January, let alone a whole new year!

Before I tell you about 2013, I cannot help and recall a situation in 2012...

My husband and I were driving back home after spending some time with my family in Illinois. So we are about halfway when we start talking about the trip, thinking about Christmas and just chatting it up! Well he turns to me and says, "for some reason, I'm not sure why, but I think 2013 is going to be different." I also felt the same, but I was not sure what exactly that meant.

In 2013 our lives were forever changed. After years of fertility issues, future post, we would bring home our first daughter, adopted & loved. We finalized our adoption recently and she's forever ours.

We would sell our first home and buy a new home, future post

We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary.

Husband completed his first triathlon & I completed my first half marathon.

So where does that leave us now? Wanting more. . .

I don't do resolutions really, but I do set out some goals.

My first is ... I've registered for a full marathon. I know. What the junk am I thinking or smoking?

We are traveling like some crazy people. News to me... when you have a baby everyone all the sudden wants to see you. Punks.

I'm pretty excited to start a new year and pretty scared at the same time! New parents, new house & not a lick smarter...

Oh and last, but absolutely not least... today is the Sugar Bowl - Beat Bama Bowl!
Pull out your crimson attire and shout Boomer Sooner all day long! #OU

Until next time! <a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/11510145/?claim=mth5nzj4tqm">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
